Hi Everyone,
I thought this would be fun. It’s little vignettes of my Paris apartment, from the most recent edition (July/August) of Vanity Fair:
Have a wonderful week!!!

Hi Danielle,
Darling article and gorgeous illustrations! Interesting that the article was written by someone named Keziah, because in the first book I ever read of yours, the protagonist’s name was Kezia.
You always mention that you’re a lousy cook, but you also write that you make wonderful tacos and that you and your kids used to make brownies for their teachers (so you know how to cook the important things!)
I often take inspiration from food in your novels. When I read Passion’s Promise, I insisted that my mom serve me popcorn in a crystal bowl (and she did!). When I read Once in a Lifetime, I wanted to eat steak and spaghetti (my family’s verdict: steak is good and so is spaghetti, but why would you eat them together??). When I was dating my husband, I tried to re-create Ben and Deann’s picnic from Summer’s End: cherries, grapes, brie, pate, a baguette.
You bring beauty to so many people’s lives. Thank you,
Elaine
What fun! Thank you for brightening our days during such a devastating time. I’m a Texas public school teacher trying to keep my balance and begin a new school year in the face of constantly changing news and guidelines, all while trying to keep my son and my high-risk family members safe. Your novels have been a welcome refuge for me (I am currently enjoying Past Perfect so much!), and I have come to greatly enjoy your blog posts. Thank you for bringing joy to so many ♡.
