Book Cover Photos

Once my children leave after our summer vacation together (and my birthday in mid-August), I start getting organized for the fall. I begin writing again in September, in true back-to-school spirit, and I spend the last half of August, clearing things off my desk, working on the outline of the book I’ll be starting, and doing projects related to my work. “L’amour n’a pas d’age”/ Love is Timeless

Last year, I received a wedding announcement from two people I’ve known for a long time, in Paris. She must be in her 50′s and he is well into his 60′s. And the bride handwrote a little message on the wedding announcement, which said what I wrote above: Love is timeless, or ‘ageless’. It really made me smile, and I was happy for both of them. They looked so happy in the photograph that came with the announcement. » read more »

Back to Work

Our Lady of Safe Harbour

On our travels to the South of France every year, I discovered a beautiful little church many years ago. It’s a very small 11th century church, with a 4th century chapel, and miracles are said to have happened there. There is a book where you can write your name (or that of someone you love and care about), if you wish them to pray for you, or are hoping for a miracle. » read more »
